Job Summary
Coordinate daily warehouse operations and support a high-performing team in Skelmersdale Op Centre. Oversee picking, packing, shipping, and stock management; ensure accuracy, efficiency, and safety. Lead, coach, and support team members; ensure compliance with operating procedures, quality standards, and health & safety regulations. Act as first point of contact for queries and issue resolution. Maintain stock control with accurate WMS recording; monitor order accuracy, labeling, and packing standards. Support audits, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives; provide cover for Warehouse Manager when required.
Required Qualifications
- FLT Counterbalance licence (essential)
- Experience in warehouse, logistics, or distribution environments
- Strong knowledge of WMS and handheld scanning systems
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
- Confident communicator with team leadership experience
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
