Job Summary
Stores Operative responsible for all stock procedures in the Dublin office, including receipt of goods, invoicing and dispatch, storage management, and organization of the store area. Responsibilities include placing purchase orders, recording stock movements, ensuring timely delivery, maintaining cleanliness and order, performing weekly cycle counts (and at least twice-yearly full counts), and supporting the Equipment Sales and Service teams to ensure availability of equipment. Emphasis on stock control, health and safety awareness, and adherence to company policies; role is office-based with potential for heavy lifting and manual handling. Opportunities to engage with internal teams and maintain operational standards within a healthcare supplies environment.
Required Qualifications
- A good general high school education is required
- Experience in stock management or stock control would be an advantage
- Direct experience in stock receipt, invoicing, and dispatch is advantageous
- Good written and numerical skills; ability to conduct cycle counts and communicate results
- Full driving licence would be an advantage but not essential
