Stores and Inventory Manager

Job Summary
Lead logistics activities for inbound and outbound material movement, shipping, receiving, and inventory storage systems at the Wimborne facility. Direct the stores department, manage timekeeping via Workday, and oversee stock locations for both main storage and build line areas. Ensure daily SAP updates, manage perpetual stock takes against CPS standards, and handle all stock adjustments and issues. Procure consumables and non-stocked products using MRP or ad-hoc orders, approve invoices, and resolve billing grievances. Lead team performance, manage training matrices, and maintain the holiday chart to ensure even coverage. Provide weekly and monthly reports on inventory records, dollar value, and audit performance while upholding 5S standards and health and safety protocols.

- Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
- Level Working Knowledge Inventory Management - Knowledge of inventory management; ability to manage inventories of raw materials and finished goods.
- Level Working Knowledge Supply Chain Management – SAP: Knowledge of functions, principles and techniques used in supply chain management; ability to develop and use, strategies, practices and tools for controlling the logistical processes.
- Extensive Experience
- Working knowledge of eSAP Warehouse Management Systems.
- Knowledge of logistics/purchasing processes.
- Technical knowledge of manufacturing processes.
- Microsoft excel and word.
- Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills
- This position requires working onsite five days a week.
