Job Summary
Manage the orderly flow of supplies to ensure all items are on hand, maintaining a clean, organized storeroom, cooler, and freezers. Receive and store all food, non-food items, and equipment; rotate stock using FIFO methods; and order goods based on department needs. Ensure shelves remain clean, meet sanitation guidelines, and issue stored items to authorized personnel. Transport up to 75 pounds of goods and work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays. Upon completion of the probationary period, you may become benefit eligible.
Required Qualifications
- 6 months to 1 year of storeroom or warehouse experience
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Good computer skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
- Good knowledge of food products, specifications, storage, and rotation procedures
- High School diploma or G.E.D.
- Transporting 50 pounds
- Lifting up to 75 pounds of goods into storage bins or onto shelves
- Working while standing for long periods of time
