Job Summary
Administer store materials for Maintenance and other departments by coordinating inventory levels, requisitioning, storage, issuance, and control of materials. Ensure necessary materials are available for plant operations by maintaining an adequate tool control system and updating the Maximo inventory database. Expedite material requisitions to assist in timely delivery and maintain systems for physically locating, storing, and controlling material issuance. Keep storerooms and warehouses safe, orderly, and clean while picking materials for daily work schedules.
Required Qualifications
- H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) or equivalent experience
- 1+ years of experience of inventory management in an industrial setting
- General Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- General Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Ability to work under limited supervision
- General Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Excellent organizational skills
- General Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Ability to work well with others at all levels of the organization
- Technical Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Familiar with standard Manufacturing concepts, practices, and procedures
- Technical Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Computer software and personal computer knowledge
- Technical Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of mechanical and electrical aptitude
- Technical Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Ability to use basic hand tools and precision measurement tools such as dial calipers and precision rule
