Job Summary
Storeroom Clerk responsible for the inventory supply and organization of the spare parts warehouse to ensure that adequate spare parts are onsite and available for maintenance and operations activities. Responsibilities include organizing and maintaining the parts warehouse for accurate tracking of parts used, coordinating between maintenance and production, creating Purchase Requisitions in SAP, requesting material numbers in SAP, updating storeroom material changes in SAP, assisting employees in locating items via SAP, receiving deliveries with a forklift, processing outbound shipments, resolving discrepancies between orders and receipts, data entry (goods issue, goods receipt, inventory adjustments), ensuring procurement and maintenance reliability standards, collaborating with purchasing and ARROP to align supplier data with SAP parts identification, and performing other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED equivalent required
- 1+ years’ experience purchasing and/or inventory control experience within an industrial/maintenance setting is required
- Prior experience industrial maintenance and repair, materials handling, inventory control
- Experience with computerized maintenance management systems, SAP preferred
- Ability to work effectively within conflicting demands and time constraints
- Must possess basic math skills
- Must possess strong organizational skills
- Should be familiar with procurement, accounting and maintenance terminology
- Proficiency in Excel, Word & SAP preferred
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
- Demonstrated ability to work in a safety conscious environment
- Good written and verbal communications skills
- Ability to work overtime as needed
