Job Summary

Receive, verify, and put away incoming materials while checking quantities against purchase orders and entering transactions into the inventory system. Issue parts to maintenance and production personnel, confirm correct items, and maintain transaction discipline for accurate records. Manage inventory accuracy through cycle counting, monitor stock levels, generate replenishment requests, and expedite critical items. Maintain storeroom organization, labeling, and cleanliness while operating material handling equipment safely. Support customer maintenance planning by staging parts ahead of scheduled work and flagging long-lead items. Handle supplier communication on order status, expediting, and returns. Work onsite in Horicon, Wisconsin for a three-month contract at $17.00 to $19.00 per hour.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior storeroom, warehouse, inventory, or parts experience
  • Demonstrated accuracy in transaction recording
  • Strong organizational habits
  • Basic computer literacy for inventory system use, data entry, and spreadsheets
  • Clear, professional communication
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to fifty pounds
  • Comfort working in an industrial manufacturing environment
  • Reliable onsite attendance in Horicon, Wisconsin for the assigned shift
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States for the duration of the engagement

Desired Qualifications

  • Prior integrated supply experience
  • Vendor-managed inventory experience
  • Industrial MRO storeroom experience
  • Familiarity with maintenance parts categories
  • Forklift certification
  • Experience with ERP or CMMS platforms
  • Exposure to purchasing or expediting activity
  • Background supporting manufacturing maintenance teams directly
  • Direct experience supporting a maintenance department
  • Ability to read parts manuals
  • Ability to identify components from equipment drawings
  • Exposure to vending or point-of-use dispensing systems
  • Experience with barcode scanning inventory platforms
  • Involvement in cost savings or standardization initiatives
