Job Summary
Storeroom/Warehouse Attendant in a Pittsburgh-area plant environment responsible for issuing parts to internal customers, operating forklift and company vehicles, performing quality inspections, and handling materials using computerized systems and handheld scanners. Role includes adherence to safety practices, working with silica sand-related processes (core/mold making, melting, pouring, finishing), and maintaining storage/loading requirements. Safety Sensitive position with potential for extended hours and weekend coverage; requires DOT physical and valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to operate forklift and control movement of lifting apparatus
- Valid driver’s license
- DOT physical clearance
- One year of on-the-job training and forklift certification
- Must wear PPE including respirator and safety gear
- Ability to work in plant/warehouse environment
- Regular and predictable attendance
- Ability to work with handheld scanners and computerized systems
- Team-oriented with good interpersonal skills
