Job Summary
Receive, store, pick, pack, and dispatch Defence equipment and supplies while operating forklifts and other material handling equipment. Use warehouse systems to manage stock accurately and action reports, ensuring all tasks comply with Defence regulations, safety protocols, and operational standards. Maintain site cleanliness and safety standards while collaborating with the team to achieve operational targets. Based at HMAS Stirling in Garden Island WA, this Fix Term Contract role requires an Australian citizen eligible for AGSVA Defence Security Clearance.
Required Qualifications
- Australian citizen
- Eligible to obtain and maintain an AGSVA Defence Security Clearance (Baseline level or higher)
- Current forklift license
- Valid driver's license (C class)
- Current NV 1 Security Clearance
- Physical fitness for manual handling tasks
- Strong teamwork, communication, and attention to detail
- A safety-first mindset
- Strong time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Eligible to make the grade
- Entitled to work in Australia
- Prepared to undertake pre-employment checks including criminal history and medical
