Job Summary
Storeperson at Macquarie University Hospital responsible for picking, packing and receiving hospital supplies across wards, theatres and central stores; scanning products to maintain stock accuracy; ordering/receipting goods; delivering stock to departments; investigating supply issues and sourcing alternatives; conducting regular stock takes; liaising with department heads, couriers and vendor representatives to support efficient supply chain operations; supports WHS and infection control and participates in quality initiatives. The role is based in North Ryde, NSW, within a hospital environment, and requires attention to detail, reliable performance in a fast-paced setting, and experience with healthcare/medical devices is highly desired. Proficiency with warehouse management systems and strong communication skills are essential to ensure timely order fulfilment and accurate inventory management.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in warehouse or stores environment (healthcare or medical device sector highly desired)
- Strong attention to detail and accurate stock records
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Ability to identify and resolve operational issues
- Time management and multi-tasking
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems and data entry
