Job Summary
Receive and inspect food and supplies, verify temperatures and documentation, and ensure products are properly stored, dated, and rotated using FIFO practices. Maintain inventory and quality assurance records, assist with food prep and product movement, and keep kitchen, storage, dish room, and equipment areas clean, safe, and organized. Provide direction and training to student employees while ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards in a fast-paced dining environment.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read, write, and follow instructions
- Possession of appropriate drivers license as required
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis without sponsorship
- Immigration sponsorship is not available for this position
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in food service, receiving, inventory, sanitation, or kitchen operations
- Experience working in a food service, kitchen, warehouse, storeroom, or receiving environment
- Experience receiving, inspecting, storing, and rotating food, supplies, or other products
- Experience maintaining inventory, completing records, or monitoring product temperatures
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and quality assurance practices, including FIFO inventory methods
- Experience providing direction, training, or oversight to student employees or other staff
