Job Summary
Storekeeper under supervision manages storeroom operations during operational periods and performs custodial duties during non-operational periods; receives, weighs, counts, unpacks and stores food supplies; issues food and requisitioned supplies; organizes storeroom and refrigerators; may handle hazardous chemicals and work in varying temperatures; requires background check and offers a 40-hour first shift; location at Columbus Campus within The Ohio State University’s Student Life Dining Services.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide whole numbers; read and write simple sentences
- 1 course in record keeping or 1 month exp.; 1 course in inventory control or 1 month exp.; or equivalent
- ability to lift up to 100 lbs.; ability to operate a pallet jack; successful completion of a background check
