Job Summary
Store Warehouse Associate at Ashley Furniture responsible for maintaining showroom floor inventory and coordinating with Visual Merchandiser on product placement. Duties include unloading/loading from semi-trailers, transferring products from warehouse to floor, wrapping and storing sold items for delivery or customer pickup, daily/weekly communication with Visual team to prioritize floor and incoming merchandise, clerical tasks of warehouse operations (receiving documentation), receiving/distributing/installing parts for repairing floor samples, maintaining warehouse and backroom cleanliness, performing minor building maintenance, completing weekly warehouse checklist, and supporting efforts to reduce store operating expenses. Requires ability to communicate with others, supervise/leadership capabilities, and willingness to perform additional tasks as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Legally authorized to work in the US.
- At least 18 years old
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Ability to lift and transport objects over 100 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation
- Maintain reliable attendance
