Provide exceptional, neighborly service by stopping to help customers select toys, comparing food labels, fitting harnesses, and educating families on pet ownership. Stock shelves, ring up purchases, unload delivery trucks, and carry heavy items like kibble and aquariums to customers' cars. Offer pet care by cleaning habitats, feeding animals, and answering questions about animal care. Process transactions with accuracy, provide Preferred Pet Club membership information, and act as backup support when needed. The role requires physical stamina for lifting up to 65 lbs and standing for long periods. Candidates must be flexible for evenings, weekends, and holidays, and pass drug and background screening.
