Job Summary
Process neighbors' purchases with accuracy, unload delivery trucks, and stock shelves with treats and toys. Provide care for store pets by cleaning habitats and feeding them, while answering customer questions on animal care. Carry bags of kibble and aquariums to cars and help neighbors select the perfect toys or harnesses. Support colleagues as backup when extra help is needed and remain flexible for evening, weekend, and holiday shifts. This role requires heavy lifting up to 65 lbs and standing for long periods. Candidates must be 16 or older and pass drug screening. Pet Supplies Plus offers flexible schedules, promotion from within, and pet care training programs.
Required Qualifications
- Be knowledgeable about animals and our products in order to provide outstanding neighborly service.
- Be flexible to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Candidates must pass a drug screening (in applicable states) and be 16 years or older.
- The Store Team Member position can be physically demanding, requiring heavy lifting (40-65 lbs.) and standing for long periods of time.
