Job Summary
Process neighbors' purchases with accuracy and efficiency, unload delivery trucks safely, and stock shelves with treats and toys. Provide exceptional neighborly service by helping customers select pet toys, comparing food ingredients, fitting harnesses, and educating families on animal care. Feed and clean store pets, carry heavy bags of kibble and aquariums to cars, and answer questions about pet ownership. This physically demanding role requires lifting up to 65 lbs and standing for long periods, with flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays. Candidates must be 16 or older and pass drug screening where applicable.
Required Qualifications
- Be knowledgeable about animals and our products in order to provide outstanding neighborly service.
- Be flexible to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Candidates must pass a drug screening (in applicable states) and be 16 years or older.
- The Store Team Member position can be physically demanding, requiring heavy lifting (40-65 lbs.) and standing for long periods of time.
