Job Summary
Stop to help neighbors select toys, compare food ingredients, and fit pets with the right harnesses. Stock shelves, unload delivery trucks, and carry heavy bags of kibble and aquariums to customers' cars. Feed all store pets, clean their habitats, and answer questions about animal care. Process purchases with accuracy, provide membership information, and act as backup when extra help is needed. This physically demanding role requires lifting 40-65 lbs and standing for long periods. Candidates must be 16 or older, pass drug screening, and work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Be knowledgeable about animals and our products in order to provide outstanding neighborly service.
- Be flexible to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Candidates must pass a drug screening (in applicable states) and be 16 years or older.
- The Store Team Member position can be physically demanding, requiring heavy lifting (40-65 lbs.) and standing for long periods of time.
