Job Summary
Process neighbors' purchases with accuracy and efficiency, while stocking shelves, unloading delivery trucks, and carrying heavy bags of kibble and aquariums to customers' cars. Provide exceptional, neighborly service by helping select toys, comparing food ingredient labels, fitting harnesses, and educating customers on animal care. Feed and clean all store pets, ensuring habitats are spiffy, and answer questions about pet ownership and maintenance. Support colleagues as backup when extra help is needed and remain flexible for evening, weekend, and holiday shifts. This physically demanding role requires lifting up to 65 lbs and standing for long periods, with candidates passing a drug screening and being at least 16 years old.
Required Qualifications
- Be flexible to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Candidates must pass a drug screening (in applicable states) and be 16 years or older.
- The Store Team Member position can be physically demanding, requiring heavy lifting (40-65 lbs.) and standing for long periods of time.
