Job Summary
Process neighbors' purchases with accuracy, unload delivery trucks safely, and stock shelves with treats and toys. Provide care for store pets by cleaning habitats and feeding animals, while answering customer questions on animal ownership and care. Ensure shelves are fully stocked and assist neighbors in selecting toys, harnesses, and food options. Carry bags of kibble and aquariums to customers' cars and offer Preferred Pet Club membership details. Support colleagues as backup when extra help is needed and remain flexible for evening, weekend, and holiday shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Be knowledgeable about animals and our products in order to provide outstanding neighborly service.
- Be flexible to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Candidates must pass a drug screening (in applicable states) and be 16 years or older.
- The Store Team Member position can be physically demanding, requiring heavy lifting (40-65 lbs.) and standing for long periods of time.
