Job Summary
Lead a team of customer sales associates and warehouse technicians to manage overall store operations, sales, and facility performance for the Residential Parts & Supply Store. Develop and execute annual operating plans, prepare business forecasts, and conduct audits to ensure financial compliance and process quality. Oversee inventory programs to maintain customer availability while reducing obsolete stock, and manage showroom appearance standards. Foster a customer-focused culture by building strong relationships with key customers through the RMX program and coach the team to achieve performance goals. Occasionally operate a forklift and lift up to 50lbs. This role supports Trane Technologies' mission of creating sustainable climate solutions for buildings, homes, and transportation.
Required Qualifications
- Two years supervisory experience
- Proven sales experience
- Experience building customer relationships
- Must be results driven
- Strong team player
- Ability to maintain a high energy level even with challenging situations or customers
- Associate's (AA) degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
- GED or High School Diploma required
- Basic understanding of Lean Principles
- Must possess a valid driver's license for a minimum of 12 months
- No major or frequent traffic violations in the previous 3 years
- No DUI
- No Hit & Run
- No License Suspension
- No Reckless/Careless Driving
- No multiple smaller infractions or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years
Desired Qualifications
- Proficiency in an inventory management system or retail sales program a plus
- Strong computer skills
- Experience in a retail setting
