Job Summary
Oversee daily store operations by delivering a Personal Chef shopping experience to all guests, managing inventory, and ensuring team members adhere to company policies. Conduct on-the-job training for new joiners, lead continuous training programs, and collaborate with the Store Manager to evaluate employee performance and implement local marketing strategies. Act as a subject matter expert in product categories, handle customer complaints per SOPs, and serve as the Store Manager's support to cover activities including monitoring sales, KPIs, and operational tasks. Work a flexible schedule covering various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of customer service experience in retail, hospitality, or restaurant
- Minimum 1-2 years of leadership or management experience in a retail, grocery, or high-volume customer service environment
- Excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people, by showing interest and carefully listening to their needs
- The availability to work a flex schedule, working various hours and shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays
- Physically able to exert up to 50 pounds of force
- Occasional exposure to extreme temperatures – walk-in freezers
- Stand/walk for up to 8-10 hours
- Frequent movement within the store to access various departments, areas, and products
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred not required
- Enjoy interacting and engaging with customers and team members
- Ability to multi-task, while being attentive to customers and remaining flexible to the needs of the business
- Work with integrity as part of a team towards a shared vision while respecting the opinions of others
- Takes initiative and is able to collaborate with the SSL on the implementation of new ideas
