Job Summary
Oversee daily store operations by delivering a Personal Chef shopping experience, training sales leaders, and ensuring all team members possess product knowledge and confidence. Manage customer service standards, handle complaints per SOPs, and collaborate with the Store Manager to evaluate performance and implement local marketing strategies. Coordinate inventory, monitor sales KPIs, and lead continuous training programs including onboarding, product learning, and new process adoption. Serve as a subject matter expert and Brand Ambassador while supporting the SSL in covering activities during their absence. Requires 2+ years of customer service experience, 1-2 years of leadership, and availability for a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of customer service experience in retail, hospitality, or restaurant
- Minimum 1-2 years of leadership or management experience in a retail, grocery, or high-volume customer service environment
- Excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people, by showing interest and carefully listening to their needs
- The availability to work a flex schedule, working various hours and shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays
- Physically able to exert up to 50 pounds of force
- Occasional exposure to extreme temperatures – walk-in freezers
- Stand/walk for up to 8-10 hours
- Frequent movement within the store to access various departments, areas, and products
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred not required
- Enjoy interacting and engaging with customers and team members
- Ability to multi-task, while being attentive to customers and remaining flexible to the needs of the business
- Work with integrity as part of a team towards a shared vision while respecting the opinions of others
- Takes initiative and is able to collaborate with the SSL on the implementation of new ideas
