Job Summary
Greet and assist customers while coaching staff to provide best-in-class service. Supervise daily workflow for donations, production, and store operations, including operating registers, assigning tills, and maintaining efficient customer flow. Ensure efficient production output by placing new product according to merchandising guidelines, salvaging items, and completing floor moves. Train employees, provide ongoing coaching, and address discipline in accordance with company policy. Monitor donor service and staff productivity, project a positive Goodwill image, and follow safety and asset protection standards. Accurately enter report data. Requires high school diploma, one year retail experience, and ability to lift up to 25 lbs. Travel up to 5% is required, including trips to Madison for training.
Required Qualifications
- Leadership skills relevant to the responsibilities of this role
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 year work experience, retail preferred
- Travel up to 5%
- Travel to Madison for training is a required part of this position
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, using a full range of motion to lift push or pull up to 25 lbs
- Must be able to clearly communicate
- Ability to maintain a stationary position to be able to operate a computer and other office equipment
