Job Summary
Partner with store team leaders to reinforce daily operational procedures and performance expectations while providing leadership coverage up to four times a week. Assist neighbors with product selection, animal care, and store operations, including nail trims and back-office tasks like updating price changes. Adhere to safety and security policies, operate equipment such as forklifts, and participate in recruiting and team member development. Work flexible schedules with reliable transportation and pass drug screening where required.
Required Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED
- 2+ years of retail experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong sales and customer service skills
- Ability to operate all equipment, including a forklift
- Ability to climb ladders
- Ability to bend
- Ability to kneel
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to perform nail trims on our furry friends
- Ability to work flexible schedules
- Reliable transportation
- Must pass the drug screening (where allowed by law)
- Must be 18 years or older
