Job Summary
Assist with setting up new stores, remodels, and relocations by sorting fixtures, assembling shelving and displays, and stocking merchandise according to planograms. Organize inventory, install signage, and maintain a clean, safe work area while breaking down boxes and coordinating disposal. Collaborate with Store Operations, construction teams, and vendors to execute projects under established timelines and company standards. Work collaboratively with Store Operations, Construction, Merchandising, Information Technology, warehouse teams, vendors, contractors, and other project partners. Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, planograms, diagrams, and store setup plans
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to completing work accurately
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced and changing environment
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to communicate professionally
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time (8 hours per day)
- Ability to frequently bend, reach, climb, kneel, push, pull, and perform repetitive movements
- Ability to safely lift, carry, and move merchandise, fixtures, equipment, and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds
- Ability to safely use ladders, step stools, pallet jacks, carts, and basic hand tools when properly trained
- Ability to work in store environments may include dust, noise, and temperature changes
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail, merchandising, stocking, warehouse operations, construction setup, or new store openings
