Job Summary
Store Security Specialist at Wegmans focused on safeguarding customers and staff by serving as the liaison between Asset Protection and store leadership. Required Qualifications
- 1+ years full-time experience as a sworn police officer with arrest authority in a military, municipal, county, state, or federal police agency
- Possession of current HR218/LEOSA credentials
- Valid license to carry a firearm
- Valid driver’s license
- Conflict management and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong technical aptitude, including proficiency with Microsoft Office
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice or related field (preferred)
- EMS/First Responder Leadership experience (preferred)
- Related experience in security or loss prevention (preferred)
