Job Summary
Store Security Specialist at Wegmans overseeing store safety, asset protection, and loss prevention. Responsibilities include communicating between the Asset Protection team and store leadership, monitoring CCTV systems, responding to emergencies, conducting investigations, collaborating with community partners and emergency responders, analyzing trends to minimize loss, and maintaining high levels of customer service and safety. Required Qualifications
- 1+ years full-time experience as a sworn police officer with arrest authority in a military, municipal, county, state, or federal police agency
- Possession of current HR218/LEOSA credentials
- Valid license to carry a firearm
- Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice or related field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Conflict management and problem-solving skills
- Experience with CCTV and security operations (preferred)
- Emergency Medical Services (EMS) or First Responder experience (preferred)
