Job Summary
Maintain customer stores by ensuring displays match plan-o-grams, assessing inventory, placing orders, down-stocking products, removing defective items, and repairing displays and equipment. Perform physical work to tear down and assemble store displays, including racks, according to plan-o-grams. Travel daily to and among multiple store locations to resolve issues, conduct store surveys, complete service sheets, and take photos of displays. Submit required records and receipts timely while following prescribed time reporting procedures. Maintain a valid driver's license and a record acceptable under company vehicle policy. This hourly position offers a flexible schedule with a car allowance, gas card, and weekly pay options.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Able to regularly travel to and among store locations, with occasional overnight stays as required to effectively service the territory
- Maintains a driver record acceptable under the provisions of Hillman's Vehicle Policy
- Intermediate knowledge of Word, Excel, and Windows
- Able to read & execute store plan-o-grams in an efficient manner
- Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills - able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers and deal tactfully with the public
Desired Qualifications
- Two years field service or merchandising experience preferred, ideally in a large-scale retail environment
- College courses
