Job Summary
Conduct merchandising services and on-site customer support at retail locations to maintain service programs and customer relationships. Travel daily among multiple stores to resolve issues, set displays to plan-o-grams, assess inventory, place orders, and repair equipment. Perform physical tasks including tearing down and assembling displays, removing defective products, and placing POP materials. Complete customer service sheets, surveys, and take photos of displays while maintaining required records and receipts. Submit time worked accurately per company policies. Requires a valid driver's license, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and occasional overnight stays.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Able to regularly travel to and among store locations, with occasional overnight stays as required to effectively service the territory
- Maintains a driver record acceptable under the provisions of Hillman's Vehicle Policy
- Intermediate knowledge of Word, Excel, and Windows
- Able to read & execute store plan-o-grams in an efficient manner
- Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills - able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers and deal tactfully with the public
Desired Qualifications
- Two years field service or merchandising experience preferred, ideally in a large-scale retail environment
- College courses
