Job Summary
Greet all customers, build strong relationships, and pick correct parts from behind the counter to ensure a positive experience. Assist in resolving retail issues, maintain store cleanliness, and help with receiving and stocking merchandise. Operate the point-of-sale system and catalog items accurately. This role requires the ability to stand and walk for the entire shift, move merchandise up to 60 pounds, and use moving aids for heavy equipment. A valid driver's license is preferred for some locations. NAPA Auto Parts values a healthy work-life balance while promoting sales through understanding customer needs.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License required for some locations based on store needs.
- Ability to stand and walk for entire work shift.
- Capable of moving merchandise of up to 60 pounds.
- Ability to move heavy equipment using moving aids.
- Ability to speak clearly and listen attentively.
Desired Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License preferred.
- Previous retail sales experience preferred.
- GED preferred.
- Capable of operating point-of-sale system and cataloging.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy as well as ability to multi-task and is self-motivated.
