Job Summary
Exhibit exceptional sales and customer service skills by selling Deseret Book products and services, assisting customers with cash registers, locating items, taking orders, imprinting, and gift-wrapping. Maintain store appearance and organization through stocking shelves, unpacking merchandise shipments, and assisting with presentation. Operate across various shifts including days, evenings, and Saturdays, with flexibility required for holidays except Thanksgiving and Christmas. This part-time role in Pocatello, ID, offers a wage of $13.70/hour and includes benefits such as a 401(k) savings plan, merchandise discount, and closed Sundays.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to interact with customers in-person and over the phone on a day-to-day basis
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to hear, understand, and respond to customers and associates
- Ability to locate and identify product for customers
- Ability to regularly lift 20 lbs and occasionally lift 35-50 lbs
- Able to stand for long periods of time
- Applicants must be flexible to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, Saturdays, and holidays (except for Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day)
