Job Summary
Greet customers, answer product and promotion questions, and recommend solutions to drive sales while resolving concerns promptly. Organize shelves, restock merchandise, and maintain a clean, safe sales floor and checkout area. Process cash, credit, and check transactions accurately, perform inventory counts, and support receiving and labeling tasks. When assigned to a Lead Shift, coordinate daily operations, assign tasks to team members, assist with opening and closing, and escalate issues to management. Requires basic math and computer skills with a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
- 0-2 years of relevant retail, customer service, or sales experience
- Prior retail sales experience, sales associate experience, or similar customer-facing experience
- Prior experience supporting opening/closing, task coordination, training, or shift support
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build positive relationships with customers and team members
- Customer-focused mindset with a positive attitude and desire to resolve issues promptly
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities at the same time
- Dependability, punctuality, and professional conduct
- Basic math skills and ability to accurately process transactions
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems
- Knowledge of inventory stocking procedures
- Ability to support team members, assign tasks, and communicate expectations when scheduled for Lead Shifts
