Job Summary
Store Sales Associate at Daiso responsible for welcoming customers, providing product knowledge, promoting discounts and promotions, maintaining up-to-date product information, merchandising and restocking, handling transactions at the POS, assisting with back stock and store upkeep, participating in inventory checks, and supporting store operations including opening/closing. Must deliver strong customer service, effective communication, adaptability in a fast-paced environment, and teamwork; candidate should be capable of lifting up to 40 lbs. and working varied shifts. Familiarity with inventory, sales, and brand enthusiasm for Daiso is valued.
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience in Retail Sales Associate or similar retail/customer-facing role (preferred)
- Experience with inventory stocking procedures
- Basic numerical aptitude for transactions and pricing
- Sales proficiency with track record of meeting/exceeding quotas
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment
- Team collaboration experience
- Positive attitude, dependable, punctual
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs., stand for extended periods
