Job Summary
Greet and direct customers, answer product and promotion inquiries, and recommend solutions to drive sales. Organize merchandise on shelves, restock displays, and maintain a clean, safe sales floor. Process cash and card transactions accurately while performing routine inventory counts and receiving new stock. Support opening and closing procedures, coordinate shift tasks during Lead Shifts, and escalate operational or customer issues to leadership. Maintain awareness of loss prevention practices and follow all safety and policy guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
- 0-2 years of relevant retail, customer service, or sales experience
- Prior retail sales experience, sales associate experience, or similar customer-facing experience
- Prior experience supporting opening/closing, task coordination, training, or shift support
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build positive relationships with customers and team members
- Customer-focused mindset with a positive attitude and desire to resolve issues promptly
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities at the same time
- Dependability, punctuality, and professional conduct
- Basic math skills and ability to accurately process transactions
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems
- Knowledge of inventory stocking procedures
- Ability to support team members, assign tasks, and communicate expectations when scheduled for Lead Shifts
