Job Summary
Store Sales Associate responsible for greeting customers, identifying needs, explaining products, promoting current discounts and promotions, maintaining product knowledge, restocking and merchandising, operating cash register, handling transactions, assisting with stockroom organization, inventory checks, and supporting store opening/closing and general administrative tasks. Requires experience in retail or customer-focused environments, ability to lift up to 40 lbs., and flexibility to work varying shifts. Emphasizes customer engagement, upselling, and maintaining a welcoming store atmosphere to drive sales.
Required Qualifications
- Relevant experience in a Retail Sales Associate role or similar
- Inventory stocking procedures knowledge
- Numerical aptitude for pricing and transactions
- Sales proficiency with a track record of meeting/exceeding quotas
- Strong communication skills to build customer rapport
- Adaptability in fast-paced environments
- Team collaboration experience
- Positive attitude, dependable, punctual
- Schedule flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays
