Job Summary
Retail Store Sales Associate at Daiso responsible for greeting customers, answering questions, promoting products, upselling, maintaining up-to-date product knowledge and promotions, merchandising and restocking, handling transactions at the cash register, assisting with store maintenance and inventory checks, and performing administrative tasks. Requires strong communication, product knowledge, sales skills, adaptability, and teamwork; must be able to lift up to 40 lbs, stand for long periods, and work a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Preferred prior experience in retail sales/retail environment
- Familiarity with inventory stocking procedures
- Basic numerical/math skills for transactions and inventory
- Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales quotas
- Exceptional communication abilities
- Adaptability in fast-paced environments
- Team collaboration experience
- Positive attitude, dependability, punctuality
- Availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays
- Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs, stand for extended periods
