Job Summary
Provide accurate automotive parts solutions to retail and wholesale customers while delivering a consistently positive and engaging customer experience. Utilize product knowledge to assist customers, operate POS and inventory systems, and coordinate deliveries through dispatch management. Maintain high energy in a fast-paced retail environment by performing general housekeeping, stocking shelves, conducting cycle counts, and supporting store operations. Assist with inventory control activities to ensure accurate records and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. This entry-level role offers a strong growth path within NAPA's global auto parts network, combining local expertise with large-scale distribution capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Driver's License
- Strong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
- Customer-focused mindset with strong listening and problem-solving abilities
- Willingness to learn automotive parts and technology systems
- Ability to lift and move automotive parts and materials (moderate weight)
- Use of computers, phones, and POS systems regularly
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in automotive, retail, or parts environment
- Hands-on experience with vehicle repair or maintenance
- Knowledge of inventory or cataloging systems
- Background in automotive, diesel, heavy equipment, farm, marine, or dealership environments
- ASE Certification (not required)
