Job Summary
Sort, tag, and price donated merchandise according to established guidelines while tracking production numbers in assigned locations. Move processed goods to the sales floor for display or to designated shipping locations, maintaining clean work and storage spaces throughout. Meet daily production goals for merchandise processing and store stocking while adhering to a flexible schedule that includes weekends and evenings. This role combines warehouse operations, merchandising, and mission-driven work to support The Salvation Army's Adult Rehabilitation Centers and affordable shopping options for the community.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or currently pursuing
- Strong English communication skills for team interactions
- Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new systems
- Basic math skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and evenings
- Professional appearance and adherence to dress code
- Must pass pre-employment background check
- Reliable and team-oriented mindset
- Ability to regularly lift and move up to 25 pounds
- Capability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch as needed
