Job Summary
Participate in weekly plan reviews and provide design support to internal partners, vendors, consultants, and business partners. Deliver strategic design for the retail environment that upholds and maintains the essence of the brand across all aspects of environmental design, fixture design, and environmental graphic application for assigned brands. Requires a 4-5 year degree in Design or Architecture, proficiency in AutoCAD, Sketchup, and Adobe Creative Suite, and strong creative problem-solving skills. Candidates must possess in-depth knowledge of construction drawing sets, shop drawings, and current construction practices including millwork and M&E design.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of relevant experience in retail store design and planning
- 4-5 year degree in Design or Architecture
- Proficient user of AutoCAD, Sketchup and Microsoft Office
- Proficient user of Adobe Creative Suite
- Sound understanding of and passion for the retail store design, architecture and construction
- Strong creative problem solving and flexibility
- Knowledge of current construction practices and materials, millwork, M&E design, lighting design
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of construction drawing sets and shop drawings
- Intuitive creative design sense
- Proficiency in 3d modeling and visualization skills
