Job Summary
Parts Professional provides prompt and courteous service in-store, over the telephone, or at the dealer’s shop; looks up parts applications in catalogs or the POS system; processes customer orders with accuracy and efficiency; advises customers on part selection and product options; demonstrates knowledge of products, performance standards, warranties, and pricing policies; supports store personnel, maintains POS proficiency, and participates in training; conducts stock and display upkeep, reports inventory variances, and assists with light sales and order processing; must be able to operate POS and catalog tools, handle cash/credit transactions, and lift heavy parts; capable of operating in a fast-paced retail environment at multiple store locations; ASE Parts Specialist certification and the ability to identify part numbers and codes, as well as knowledge of the local service area are required.”
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- ASE Parts Specialist (automotive) certified
