Store Parts Professional

A Parts Professional provides prompt and courteous service to customers in-store, over the telephone, or at the dealer’s shop. Responsibilities include looking up parts in catalogs or POS, processing orders with high accuracy, advising customers on how best to meet their needs, demonstrating product knowledge, warranties, and sales programs, and supporting store personnel. The role requires strong communication and organizational skills, the ability to understand part numbers/line codes, and the capacity to work in a fast-paced retail environment; responsibilities also include maintaining POS proficiency, handling stock orders, reporting discrepancies, and assisting with displays and loss-prevention controls. Preferred qualifications include High School Diploma or equivalent and ASE Parts Specialist certification, with the ability to operate a vehicle with a manual transmission and to work retail hours at assigned store locations; additional capabilities include using TAMS POS system, handling cash/credit transactions, and physically lifting up to 60 pounds.
