Job Summary
Store Operations Manager (GM) for Insomnia Cookies in Hartford, CT. Responsible for hiring, coaching and developing a diverse part-time hourly staff (Shift Leaders, Cookie Crew, Delivery Drivers); leading service quality, customer experience, store cleanliness, and sales performance; auditing inventory and executing local marketing drops; and driving in-store recognition programs. Requires 3+ years of management/leadership in restaurant or retail, availability for 2-3 mid-to-late shifts (Thu-Sun), a hospitality-first mindset, proficiency with MS Outlook/Excel/MS Teams and ATS experience, and familiarity with convection ovens.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of management/leadership experience in a restaurant or retail establishment
- Availability to work 2-3 mid-to-late shifts throughout the latter part of the week (Thu-Sun)
- Benevolent leadership style with a player-coach mentality for day-to-day management
- Strong hospitality mindset with ability to deliver exceptional customer service
- Solid technical acumen with restaurant/retail software proficiency (MS Outlook, Excel, MS Teams)
- Experience hiring employees using an Applicant Tracking System
- Familiarity with commercial convection ovens is a plus
