Job Summary
Store Operations Manager at Insomnia Cookies Boston Back Bay overseeing hiring/coaching of part-time staff (Shift Leaders, Cookie Crew, Delivery Drivers), ensuring exceptional customer service, store cleanliness, inventory controls, and local marketing initiatives to drive sales and team development. Responsibilities include leading service quality, creating a culture of excellence, auditing inventory, executing local marketing drops, and recognizing high-performing team members. Requires 3+ years of management/leadership in restaurant or retail, availability for 2-3 mid-to-late shifts (Thu-Sun), proficiency with MS Outlook/Excel/MS Teams and an Applicant Tracking System; experience with commercial convection ovens is a plus. Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of management/leadership experience in a restaurant or retail establishment
- Availability to work 2-3 mid-to-late shifts throughout the latter part of the week (Thurs-Sun)
- Benevolent leadership style with a player-coach mentality for day-to-day management
- Strong hospitality mindset and ability to deliver exceptional customer service
- Solid technical acumen with restaurant/retail software, MS Outlook, Excel, MS Teams
- Prior experience hiring employees using an Applicant Tracking System
- Familiarity with commercial convection ovens is a plus
