Job Summary
Store Operations Manager responsible for delivering a strong store experience across departments, coaching team members, and ensuring safety, sales, and service standards. Lead inventory flow, labor planning, and merchandising execution while collaborating with store leaders to translate strategy into action. Role involves managing schedules (full-time average 45-50 hours during peak times), guiding teams up to 40 members, and ensuring compliance in firearms sales including ATF Form 4473 verifications. Requires strong leadership, customer service orientation, and the ability to analyze operational and financial data to drive results.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant leadership or management experience
- Demonstrated success leading departments of up to 40 team members
- Ability to complete required certifications including Firearms Sales and Power Industrial Truck
- Familiarity with ATF Form 4473 background check verification
- Strong leadership and coaching skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with inventory systems, order processing, payroll systems, and Microsoft Office
- Ability to interpret operational and financial data
- Ability to adhere to federal/state requirements in firearms transactions
