Job Summary
Lead and manage center store department operations for dry grocery, general merchandise, alcohol, dairy, and frozen food to maximize sales and profitability. Oversee inventory control, receiving, planogram integrity, and pricing while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and municipal laws. Direct team building, hiring, training, and coaching for associates and managers, maintaining open communication channels for feedback and ideas. Execute product recalls, enforce safety protocols, and ensure adherence to food safety and sanitation codes. Balance physical labor with administrative duties to foster a clean, consistent shopping environment that builds customer loyalty. Occasional overnight shifts required; background check and Food Safety Certification needed.
Required Qualifications
- Authorization to work in the United States or the ability to obtain the same.
- Successful completion of background check.
- Proficient with computer applications used in effectively operating the department.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal, motivational and communication skills.
- Possession of Food Safety Certification or the ability to obtain same within 180 days of placement.
- High standard of integrity and reliability.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 3 - 6 yrs minimum
- 1 - 5 yrs minimum

- Varied shifts, to include morning, afternoon, evening and closing shifts. Includes a minimum of one (1) closing shift each week.
