Job Summary
Meat Cutter responsibilities include cutting, trays, and packaging meat and seafood products; receiving/unloading shipments, pricing, and stocking cases with proper rotation; maintaining a safe and clean environment compliant with safety/sanitation regulations; ensuring compliance with weights, measures, and labeling laws; greeting customers and taking orders; using cutting tools with mesh gloves; participating in pre-inventory and back stock management; may assist in other departments as needed; Weis Markets is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
- plus 2 years' experience in a retail environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience
