Job Summary
Oversee store operations and develop a fully staffed, trained team to uphold a customer-first culture. Responsible for overall store management, regulatory compliance, and ensuring profitability by monitoring processes to meet store goals. Lead performance management, foster a positive store culture, communicate effectively with large and small groups, and engage with the community to support store success. Demonstrate strong leadership, interpersonal, and analytical skills, and align with Yesway’s mission and total customer focus. Assume responsibility for special programs or assignments as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- 2-year degree in business related field preferred
- 3 years experience supervising others preferred
- 3 years experience supervising others in a fast food, restaurant, retail or convenience operation preferred
- Certification: Successful completion of required certification testing upon employment
Additional Requirements
- For Kansas applicants: criminal background check; no offer to those with felony or morals charges under Kansas law, other states law, or Federal law; no offer to those who have repeatedly furnished alcohol to a minor in the past five years.
- For New Mexico applicants: criminal background check; alcohol server’s certificate within 30 days; no offer to those who have furnished alcohol to a minor.
