Job Summary
Store Manager for Salvation Army West Covina Store responsible for scheduling and supervising retail staff, interviewing and hiring, training, performance evaluations, inventory management, cash handling, loss-prevention, ensuring compliance with ARCC policies, customer and donor relations, and achieving store sales goals. Requires leadership experience in a retail environment, ability to operate POS systems, driver’s license, and passing a background check. On-site role based in West Covina, CA with potential for transfer between stores.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum one year previous retail sales/customer service experience
- At least one year retail experience in supervisory position preferred
- Ability to operate POS/Cash Register and have ability to schedule and supervise store employees
- Must hold a valid driver’s license, be able to show proof of insurance and have access to a motor vehicle
- Must pass background check, which will include Criminal History and Sex Offender Registry
- Ability to communicate effectively with management, store employees, customers and donors
