Job Summary
Store Manager at Lush Washington Square in Tigard, OR, responsible for recruiting and developing a management team, training on brand, product, and service, overseeing budgets and sales targets, and cultivating an exceptional customer experience. You’ll lead leadership practices, DEIB initiatives, and staff development, manage operational excellence including scheduling, inventory, and compliance, drive visual merchandising and brand education (Fighting Animal Testing, Ethical Buying, 100% Vegetarian, Handmade, Naked Packaging), and leverage metrics to achieve short- and long-term goals while fostering an inclusive, engaging shop environment. Location-based duties include in-store leadership, team coaching, and maintaining store standards to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years managing in a retail environment
- Strong HR skills in hiring, scheduling, training, conflict resolution and performance management
- Excellent listening and communication skills
- Excellent analytical, critical thinking and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Strong customer service, supervisory and sales skills
- Knowledge and interest in skincare, natural beauty, and ethical business
- Ability to work flexible hours to meet the needs of the shop including holidays, evenings, and weekends
