Job Summary
Lead day-to-day store operations with a strong floor presence, inspiring and coaching a large, diverse team to create future leaders. Deliver outstanding customer experiences in line with Universal Store service expectations while driving sales results and ensuring store profitability through cost and productivity management. Oversee rostering, budgets, and scheduling to meet business and payroll targets, maintaining visual merchandising standards and store efficiencies. Recruit, train, and support team members with clear, honest feedback while upholding the brand's behavioural expectations and culture. Work a Tuesday–Saturday roster including late-night trade and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Strong retail background with hands‐on experience across stockroom and shop floor
- Proven leadership experience as a Store Manager, leading medium to large teams
- Warm, enthusiastic communicator who leads with positivity and purpose
- Ability to adapt in a fast‐paced, ever‐changing environment
- High attention to detail with a strong understanding of retail profitability
- Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales results
- Confident in delivering feedback and communicating effectively at all levels
- The successful candidate will work a Tuesday–Saturday roster, including late‐night trade and weekends
